
About Our Intrapreneurship Program
Since 2010, Youth Branding Uninversity has educated 1000's of youth how to have a successful intrapreneurship. We also have helped some of these students acquire internships included ones as early as middles school students.
In addition, our CEO has been mentoring students on career developent for over 30 years and one example of this is former high school student Marla Baskerville Watkins.
He provided Marla with a high school internship with his former employer Academy Insurance Group over 30 years and now she is an Associate Professor, Management, and Organizational Development, at Northeastern University Dr. Watkins received her BS in Psychology, Howard University, Washington, DC; MEd in Guidance and Counseling, Certificate of Marriage and Family Therapy, The University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia; and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior with a minor in Sociology, Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana. She has done consulting work for NASA, The Legal Sales and Service Organization (LSSO), and Springboard-Partners. She has also worked as marketing manager for ClubMom, Incorporated. Prior to joining the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, Professor Watkins was an instructor at Tulane University where she taught undergraduate business classes.

On April 26, 2019, the DeKalb County School Distrist Career Technical and Agriculural Eduxcation Work-Based Learning Program recognized Youth Branding University during their Employer Appreciation Reception. Youth Branding University Board of Directors Secretary and member Jason Bates represents the organization at a high school college and career fair. Over 700 students, administraotrs, and staff members attended this career fair.
Youth Branding University Board of Directors member John Holly represents the organization during a high school classroom career development program. John talked to students about career readness in the area of writing a resume, developing a bio, writing a cover letter, developing a thank you note, and preparing for an interview.
Youth Branding University Advisory Committee member Sharon Jay represents the organization at the Eastside Acacdmic Stidies Homeschool Class Fair Over 100 students, parents, administraotrs, and staff members attended this class fair.
Youth Branding University organized a Black History Program for Cross Keys High School focusing on Careers of Famous African Americans. Speakes at this program incuded former NFL Players College Football Athlete, Radio Host, Actress, and Business Executives. Over 1,500 students, administrators, and staff members attended this program.
Youth Branding University received a grant from Success Magazine and received 1,000 Success for Teens - Real Teens Talk About Using The Slight Edge book. Youth Branding University used this book as a course resource in the classroom to educate various Middle Schools and High Schools students on career develop.
Since 2015, Youth Business University has organized and hosted the NFL Alumni Association - Georgia Youth of America Week (YOAW) at Towers High School. Former NFL Players and Busimess Executives spoke to over 200 students, administrators, and staff members on Career Destiny.
Youth Business University CEO Henderson and his Eastside Academic Studies High School Homeschool student Joseph meets with Amerprise Financial Services Company's executives to discuss summer internship for Joseph. Joseph was very interested in pursing a career as a Certified Financial Planner.
